This notice will take effect on the starting week of the new school term. Most of you will know by now that we have been booking the 10-seater room every wednesdays frm 1pm onwards for study purposes.
The purpose of booking a room --> a conducive environment for fellow classmates who wants to study. Hence there should be no distractions or whatsoever caused.
1A01 students are welcomed to join in the study sessions at the library every wednesdays.
Students caught playing games in the study sessions will be asked to leave the room without any form of hesitation by the other students. so PLEASE co-operate with one another and help make the study sessions more effective and better(:
It has come to our attention that some of you might be using the room for gaming purposes.
We kindly seek your attention in not using the room for gaming as it might affect those who are trying to concentrate on their studies. Besides this, there is a library notice on the doors of every room that there should be no public gaming in the rooms. So try to stick to the notice okays..(as if you guys will follow to what the rules on the notice says. haha)
In case some of you guys have questions, here are some you may wish to take a look at...
FAQ:
1. What if there's nothing to study on since Common Test is over?-Work on your assignments or projects.
2. Oh what if I've already completed my assignments/projects?-It would be best if you can
let your other fellow classmates use the study room since you have completed the things you have to do (as we have limited space in the room), or perhaps
revise on the ppt slides/notes which the lecturers have given, or grab a book.
3. I really want to play computer games. Just one game. Are there any alternative solutions I may consider?-sure.
you can grab an individual study desk outside the study rooms which is always available to suit your needs.
You have to understand there is limited space available in the room because it is quite small. If you want to game,
please leave so that there will be extra spaces available for other classmates to study in the room. Regardless of how many games you play, still you have to spare a consideration for other classmates too. We suggest that you
book another room for yourself if you wish to game. Thanks ! :DD
4. But since our class is in the study room,We must be united and stay in the same room right?
-well, yes we must be united as a class. So why don't you
put aside your game and join us to study? Then we will be united as a class by studying together ^^
